Quantum bioinorganic chemistry conference

The 5th Quantum Bio-Inorganic Chemistry Conference took place in Marseille in July 2019, with more than 70 participants from all over the world. The organizing committee thanks all contributors for making this a truly great meeting!

Photos from the conference can be browsed in our photo gallery.

The next QBIC conference (QBIC-VI), will take place in Groningen in the summer of 2021.

Congratulations to Lorenzo D'Amore and Mauricio Maldonado-Dominguez for winning the poster prizes sponsored by the European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry!

Dear colleagues,

We are happy to announce that the fifth Quantum BioInorganic Chemistry Conference (QBIC-V) will be held from 8 to 10 July 2019 in Marseille, France. The 2019 meeting follows the previous QBIC meetings in Warwick (1999), Lund (2003), Český Krumlov (2011) and Bath (2018). QBIC-V is the second meeting organized since the founding of the QBIC Society.

We invite you to participate in this event that will focus on computational inorganic and bioinorganic chemistry, covering theoretical methods, novel applications, and combined computational/experimental approaches.

QBIC-V is an official satellite meeting of the 9th Molecular Quantum Mechanics Conference (MQM19, Heidelberg, Germany), and of the 19th International Conference on Biological Inorganic Chemistry (ICBIC-19, Interlaken, Switzerland).

We look forward to meeting you in the wonderful city of Marseille.

For the organising committee,

Maylis Orio, Aix-Marseille Université/CNRS, France

Dimitrios A. Pantazis, Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung, Germany
